five years from now, i hope the youth of today have a better coming of age experience, free from addictive technology and its drawbacks. i hope they live their teenage years with memories they can recall, without screens or devices. i hope this decade is full of exploration, play and self-discovery.

five years from now, i hope that the teenagers of today are equipped with the skills to take them through their twenties. having an understanding of themselves, their wants, their dreams and their bodies. to notice the inner wisdom, authenticity and potential they carry within them already, before the world told them they were too much, or not enough.

meet vivian

A member of the older cohort of Generation Z, Vivian is a Certified Comprehensive Pilates and Yoga Teacher (RYT-800), and a Holistic Health Coach with a deep interest in how somatic (body) movement practices can influence and guide our psychological and emotional wellbeing, influencing how we feel as a whole.

Currently, her interest lies in developing her skills towards creating safe, compassionate and non-judgemental spaces for clients to emerge deeper into their inner worlds, deepening and reconnecting to the trust, strength and authenticity already present in themselves. She is currently training under well renowned trauma specialist, Dr. Gabor Mate, as well as deepening her studies in psychology, neuroscience and trauma.

Warmly emphatic, gentle, calm and soft, Vivian aspires to be a guide towards helping individuals reconnect to their bodies so they can uncover the deep wisdom and intuition that lies underneath.

I initially joined Pilates to work on my strength and flexibility. Since then, I’ve noticed improvements in my posture, while also learning how important breathing and proper body alignment are. Vivian has really helped me understand how to engage my core and perform pelvic tucks correctly, which has made a big difference in how I move and approach each class. These are techniques I’ve been able to apply to other activities like strength training and cardio, helping me maintain better form and avoid injury. Vivian's holistic health consultation involves a comprehensive form and an in-depth conversation to better understand my, and I'm sure other clients', backgrounds and needs within a comfortable setting. The initial conversation involved better understanding current habits in areas such as sleep, hydration, nutrition, movement and career to then identify areas that needed healthier adaptations. Vivian encouraged me to further elaborate on my answers written on a pre-appointment digital form, to then have created a safe space to open up and acknowledge my lifestyle habits that needed to be changed.
